The end of an era!

Nearly there! Before we start, I’m not going to jinx it – as Keir said yesterday. I thought that I would just make reference today to the concept of ‘the end of an era’. The staff and students at TRC have finished for the summer – remember that the staff return mid-August, when it’s GCSE […]

Embracing Change

I know I can’t get through this week’s message without reflecting, to some degree, on the momentous election results. Whichever way you lean, politically, there can be no doubt that a significant change took place on Thursday/Friday. Plenty to smile about

There’s a lot to cover this week. Before that, a thank you to everyone for all your efforts this last week. Exams have continued, yet transition and taster days are being planned. Events have taken place, where parents have been able to celebrate the success of so many children and young people; I note, in […]

Operation Overlord

I know that some of you, who know me well, might believe I’ve a heart of stone. It’s not true, but I’m not one for wearing my emotions so obviously, in the professional context. We are all different and we can and should all be able to present to our colleagues in the way we […]

It’s the end of the half term and for many of us; including some of our year 10s, all of our y11s, some of our year 12s and all of our year 13s; it won’t feel much like a break. But we all might just get a few days to lift our heads and breath […]
