Have a lovely Christmas break
19th December 2025

Many of you now don’t send Christmas cards. Like you from me it’ll be a greeting, best wishes and a donation to a charity. This year we have donated to the NSPCC, in lieu of sending cards.
It’s that time of the term when there is very little more that can be said, and even less patience for that which can be read. In that case, it just remains for me to say…
Thank you: for all the hard work, patience and support over the past few months. We are in the people business and we have some of the very best people working with us.
Thank you: for supporting your/our children and young people. Everything they achieve is built on the foundations of the support that the staff, schools, college and their families give them.
Thank you: for ensuring our communities feel engaged and involved.
Thank you: you for supporting the staff, the schools, the college as we work to inspire your children and young people and our wider communities.
Have a wonderful break – in whatever form it takes. Take some time for you and your families and friends.
And a message to the young people: Turn that device off!
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year.
